DAZUO BRAND CONSULTING · QINGDAO, CHINA
We are a brand strategy and design studio.
We take positioning, identity and packaging from strategy through to the printer, so what you spend on brand comes back in price, margin and repeat orders.
ABOUT DAZUO
DAZUO works with small and mid-sized companies that already sell well and want to be paid for it. Most clients arrive with the same three problems: the product is good but the market cannot remember who makes it; the logo, the packaging and the website each look like they came from a different company; and nobody inside the business can say what the brand stands for in one sentence.
Strategy first, design second.
That order is the whole method.
We are not a supplier. We take the same risk you do: if the work does not move price or margin, we have not done our job.

Brand equity growth
HOW WE WORK
Strategy-led design
WHAT IT IS FOR
Pricing power
Our founder spent two decades running brand inside companies, including as brand general manager for a national hotel group. He has signed off budgets, defended them to a board, and lived with the result.
The work is built to the standard of a large agency, without the layers. One senior team, from the first workshop to the final print file.
Positioning, identity, packaging, print. One team carries the idea from the whiteboard to the factory floor, so nothing gets lost in the handover.
THREE DECISIONS, IN ORDER
Get them right and price stops being a negotiation. Each one answers a different question, and the answers compound: direction, then structure, then who pays.
Decides direction
Which market you compete in, which position you hold in it, and the one sentence customers should repeat about you.
Gives you: a reason to exist that is not price
Decides structure
How the range is organised: which product carries the brand, which one carries the margin, and what proof sits behind the claim.
Gives you: a price ladder you can defend
Decides who pays
Who the buyer is, who signs, what they compare you against, and what makes them come back a second time.
Gives you: repeat orders instead of one-off deals
Not a pitch team that hands you to juniors once the contract is signed. Twenty years of brand practice stays in the room until delivery.
Audit, strategy, design, delivery. Each gate closes in writing, so you always know what has been agreed and what comes next.
If it looks good and cannot be produced at cost, it is not finished. Design has to survive procurement, production and the shelf.
FOUR WAYS TO WORK WITH US
Most clients start with the audit and continue into identity. Each stage stands on its own, so you are never asked to buy the whole programme before you have seen how we think.
The problem: you know something is off, but not what.
What you get: a two-hour deep-dive with the founder, then a written diagnosis covering positioning, the competitive set, identity and touchpoint gaps.
What it buys: a starting point you can act on before you spend on design.
Best for: companies that need an outside read before they commit a budget.
The problem: the company looks like five different companies.
What you get: a positioning summary, a complete visual identity system with usage rules, and the core applications you actually use.
What it buys: a look that survives hiring, expanding and reprinting.
Best for: companies that have outgrown the identity they started with.
The problem: one product or one moment has to carry the whole brand.
What you get: one or two high-impact pieces built on the new system — packaging, a launch kit, a retail set.
What it buys: attention at the point where the decision actually gets made.
Best for: companies with a launch or a channel push already scheduled.
The problem: decisions keep coming and there is no one senior to ask.
What you get: a monthly strategy session, on-call review, and sign-off on partner and agency work.
What it buys: consistency, and fewer expensive mistakes.
Best for: companies growing faster than their internal team.
Three moves hold each other up. Where the three lines meet is the number you can charge — which is another way of saying pricing power.
Decide which market you are in and what you are worth in it. Skip this and every later investment becomes decoration.
Sits on: the brand audit — the starting point has to be factual.
Turn the internal value into something visible in the first three seconds. Charging more than the competition needs a reason that shows.
Sits on: customer positioning — who buys sets the ceiling.
Put disproportionate effort into one or two touchpoints that people remember. Attention is not the goal; turning it into orders and repeat orders is.
Loop: 1 → 2 → 3 → data and word of mouth → reposition. The modules cycle, they do not end at delivery.
